Young stars interpret

When a workmate approached
Erica Ward about her singing
three years ago, she thought
people had complained.
Instead, Al Warren encouraged
her to audition for Rent, the show
he was musical director for, and
Ward got a part in the chorus.

Harman said Las Vegas Nights
is not about impersonating the
great Vegas singers, but a tribute
to them as the six singers make
the well-known songs their own.

He knows every side of theatre
so he can bring it all together.''
Asked why he wanted to be in
Las Vegas Nights, Meurk replied:
If you see the show, you'll under-
stand that anyone would love to
be a part of it.''
Las Vegas Nights runs until
